On Saturday, ROH held Death Before Dishonor X live on iPPV. Here are the quick and easy to digest results from that show, which had its share of technical problems:
- ROH Tag Team Title Semi-Final: S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs) defeated Caprice Coleman/Cedric Alexander
- Tadarius Thomas defeated Silas Young to gain a spot in the 2012 Survival of the Fittest tournament
- Kyle O’Reilly defeated ACH by Submission
- ROH Tag Team Title Semi-Final: Charlie Haas/Rhett Titus defeated The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe/Mark Briscoe)
- Jay Lethal pinned Homicide
- The House of Truth (Michael Elgin/Roderick Strong) defeated Irish Airborne (Dave Crist/Jake Crist)
- Adam Cole (c) defeated Mike Mondo by Submission to retain the ROH Television Title
- ROH Tag Team Title Finals: S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs) defeated Charlie Haas/Rhett Titus to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions
- Main Event: Kevin Steen (c) pinned Rhino to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Title
And there are your down and dirty results from a show I’m sure you’ve already read the results for. Oh well. I didn’t see the event but I haven’t heard great things about it from the in-ring action to the myriad of technical problems experienced during the first hour (an unfortunate ROH staple at this point). Elgin and Strong winning were a surprise, I guess the slow burn continues on that, but I like that Corino/Jacobs won the Tag Team Titles. S.C.U.M. is about the only reason I pay attention to ROH now that Tommaso Ciampa is out with an injury.
For actual ROH Death Before Dishonor X coverage, I highly recommend Ari Berenstein‘s write-up over at Pro Wrestling Ponderings. He experienced technical problems too but instead of leaving it blank, he filled the time with ridiculous stuff going around him. It’s a humorous read.
