[iPPV Results] ROH Glory By Honor XI: The Unbreakable Hope

Here are the results of last night’s ROH iPPV Glory By Honor XI courtesy of Sean Radican‘s recap of the event over at PWTorch.

  • Caprice Coleman/Cedric Alexander defeated The Bravados (Lancelot Bravado/Harlem Bravado)
  • Mike Bennet (w/Maria Kanellis) pinned Mike Mondo
  • Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas/Shelton Benjamin) defeated Rhett Titus/BJ Whitmer
  • Jay Lethal defeated Davey Richards via knockout
  • Tadarius Thomas pinned Rhino (w/Truth Martini) [Roderick Strong was supposed to face Thomas but decided he was “beneath him” and Martini forced Rhino to face him instead]
  • Adam Cole (c) pinned Eddie Edwards to retain the ROH Television Title
  • S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs) (c) defeated The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe/Mark Briscoe) to retain the ROH World Tag Team Titles
  • Kevin Steen (c) pinned Michael Elgin to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Title

The replay of the event should be on ROHWrestling.com tomorrow and I will probably be posting my own thoughts on the show sometime this week if I get some time to do so. But from all the tweets and recaps I’ve read, it was a damn good show and the best they’ve had all year.

[iPPV Results] ROH Death Before Dishonor X

On Saturday, ROH held Death Before Dishonor X live on iPPV. Here are the quick and easy to digest results from that show, which had its share of technical problems:

  1. ROH Tag Team Title Semi-Final: S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs) defeated Caprice Coleman/Cedric Alexander
  2. Tadarius Thomas defeated Silas Young to gain a spot in the 2012 Survival of the Fittest tournament
  3. Kyle O’Reilly defeated ACH by Submission
  4. ROH Tag Team Title Semi-Final: Charlie Haas/Rhett Titus defeated The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe/Mark Briscoe)
  5. Jay Lethal pinned Homicide
  6. The House of Truth (Michael Elgin/Roderick Strongdefeated Irish Airborne (Dave Crist/Jake Crist)
  7. Adam Cole (c) defeated Mike Mondo by Submission to retain the ROH Television Title
  8. ROH Tag Team Title Finals: S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs) defeated Charlie Haas/Rhett Titus to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions
  9. Main Event: Kevin Steen (c) pinned Rhino to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Title

And there are your down and dirty results from a show I’m sure you’ve already read the results for. Oh well. I didn’t see the event but I haven’t heard great things about it from the in-ring action to the myriad of technical problems experienced during the first hour (an unfortunate ROH staple at this point). Elgin and Strong winning were a surprise, I guess the slow burn continues on that, but I like that Corino/Jacobs won the Tag Team Titles. S.C.U.M. is about the only reason I pay attention to ROH now that Tommaso Ciampa is out with an injury.

For actual ROH Death Before Dishonor X coverage, I highly recommend Ari Berenstein‘s write-up over at Pro Wrestling Ponderings. He experienced technical problems too but instead of leaving it blank, he filled the time with ridiculous stuff going around him. It’s a humorous read.

[iPPV Results] ROH Boiling Point 2012

Tonight, ROH held its Boiling Point show live from the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI and over the internet on iPPV. Here are the results from that event, in order, courtesy of the live report on ProWrestling.net

  1. Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini) pinned “No Fear” Mike Mondo
  2. QT Marshall beat Matt Taven, Antonio Thomas, and Vinny Marseglia to win an ROH Contract
  3. [Proving Ground] Adam Cole pinned “Brutal” Bob Evans
  4. Charlie Haas pinned Michael Elgin (w/ Truth Martini) *This one is particularly shocking to me*
  5. The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe/Mark Briscoe) defeated SCUM (Steve Corino/Jimmy Jacobs)
  6. [2 out of 3 Falls Match] Jay Lethal defeated Tommaso Ciampa, 2 Falls to 1
  7. [Mixed Tag Team Match] Eddie Edwards/Sara Del Ray defeated “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett/Maria Kanellis
  8. Kevin Steen (c) defeated [CHIKARA Grand Champion] Eddie Kingston to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Championship

Prediction Score: 3/8 (boy was I way the f*ck off on this one. I need to get reacquainted with ROH’s product and quick. The Elgin loss is particularly shocking although it happened through nefarious means. Also weren’t The Bravados supposed to wrestle tonight?)

The Boiling Point 2012 replay will be available soon on ROHWrestling.com so if these results seem interesting to you, feel free to purchase the event and see the action for yourself.
