[TV Report] WWE ‘Raw’ Recap + Commentary – 2/25/2013

raw-recap

This week RAW comes to us live from Dallas, TX and it’s looking like it’s going to be a stacked show, between the John Cena/CM Punk main event, the Vince McMahon/Paul Heyman “fight”, and potentially an appearance by a certain “Deadman”. Let the build to Wrestlemania 29 continue…or something.

Click “read more” for a live recap of the show as it airs, or click “read more” later when it’s not so live and you’re looking to catch up. Just click it either way, please.

[TV Recap] WWE Raw – 1/28/2013

20130121_LIGHT_raw_roulette_C

One night after the historic end of the Royal Rumble, WWE presents Raw live from Las Vegas, Nevada. Naturally, with Vegas being the gambling capital of the world, theme for tonight’s show is the “RAW Roulette” which will decide the stipulations for the matches (and other stuff). Tonight will also be Vince McMahon‘s “evaluation” of adviser Paul Heyman as well as appearances by Rumble winner John Cena and the men involved in last night’s main event: CM Punk and the man who beat him for the championship, The Rock.

[TV Results] WWE Main Event – 1/16/2013

WWE Main Event

Here are the results from tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event on the Ion Network, courtesy of Chris Shore‘s far more detailed coverage over at ProWrestling.net.

Match Results:

  1. Randy Orton defeated *WWE U.S. Champion* Antonio Cesaro by Disqualification in a non-title match when The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns) interfered (23:42).
  2. The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) defeated The Prime Time Players (Darren Young & Titus O’Neil) when one of the Usos pinned Young (12:05).

Other Notes:

  • The Miz hit the ring to help Randy Orton fend off The Shield after his match. Miz was taken out with a spear by Roman Reigns and Orton was given a triple powerbomb for his troubles. After The Shield bailed, Antonio Cesaro slithered in and took Miz out with The Neutralizer.
  • With his announce partner out due to the attack by The Shield and Cesaro, it appeared that Michael Cole was going to call this show alone but in came Brad Maddox out of nowhere to take Miz’s place. Maddox was over the top and ridiculous and once the match ended he immediately took off. There was no hype for next week’s show at the conclusion.

[TV Recap] WWE Friday Night Smackdown – 1/11/2013

WWE-Friday-Night-Smackdown (Small)

With a Friday off and the potential for an actual eventful Smackdown, I’ve decided to give the show a shot this week. The main event tonight is The Big Show Vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing match. WWE has already spoiled who wins, but I won’t be doing the same because of reasons. Also The Rock will be in attendance. That’s a thing.

[TV Results] WWE Friday Night Smackdown – 12/28/2012

WWE-Friday-Night-Smackdown (Small)

On the final 2012 edition of Smackdown, GM Booker T decides the next challenger to The Big Show‘s World Heavyweight Championship by, erm, putting everyone’s name in a hopper and picking at random. Also The Miz tries to extract some revenge from Dolph Ziggler but unfortunately it’s not a 1 on 1 affair and The Funkadactyls actually get *gasp* physical.

Click “read more” for the results of the show, taken from Chris Shore‘s much more detailed coverage over at ProWrestling.net.
